Distribution of Title Deeds a Matter of Pride: Minister Bangarappa

Government must give priority for providing facilities for farmers to sustain in agriculture activities

“A title deed is a basic right, and distributing them is a matter of pride,” said School Education and District In-charge Minister S. Madhu Bangarappa, while inaugurating a facility distribution programme organised by the Revenue Department, Soraba Taluk Administration, and Taluk Panchayat on Wednesday.

The minister stated that the government is actively working to issue title deeds to eligible individuals and is addressing challenges related to 94C and 94CC applications. He added that the revenue minister is introducing significant reforms in the department.

DCC Bank Director K.P. Rudre Gowda appreciated the state’s efforts to regularise land titles in untitled villages and stressed the importance of extending the initiative to other areas.

During the event, the minister distributed land titles to 96 beneficiaries from Hanchi Thanda and Thattur Vaddigare villages. He also handed over laptops to 14 SC/ST students of the Government Polytechnic, Soraba.

Additionally, 76 beneficiaries received advanced tools in tailoring, carpentry, welding, and masonry under the Industries and Commerce Department. Capital investment aid was granted to 8 others.

Soraba Municipality Vice President Ranjani, local officials, and leaders attended the programme.

Arrangements are being made to provide title deeds to those who do not have title deeds. People should have faith in the government. Discussions are being held on providing justice to those who are cultivating in the forest under the Forest Rights Act, said Minister Madhu Bangarappa.
