Dinesh Gundurao Appeals To The Union Health Minister To Provide 60% Financial Support To Ayushman- Arogya Karnataka

State Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao has submitted a request to the Union Health Minister that the Central Government should provide 60% subsidy for Ayushman Bharat Arogya Karnataka Health Insurance Scheme. Attending the Dehradun Swasthya Chinchin Shivir, the Minister drew the Union Health Minister's attention to the need for more finance support from the Center for the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
Karnataka is making good progress in ABPMJAY Scheme. Minister Gundu Rao explained to Union Minister Mansukh Mandovia that there is no adequate financial support from the Central Government. At present, the state government is providing 64% financial assistance, while the central government is providing only 36%. He said that the state government is paying 64 percent of the funding.
If the central government provide 60% financial assistance to the Ayushman Bharat Arogya Karnataka scheme, the scheme can be effectively delivered to more people. At the same time, Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao submitted a request to the Union Health Minister that the central government should work at the rate of 60% state government 40% in this regard.
The Minister appealed to take an early decision in this regard for the Ayushman Bharat important project which has been started from the perspective of public health security. State Health Minister Dinesh Gundurao participated as Co- Chairman in the Ayushman Bhava Symposium on the second day of the Health Thinking Camp.
