DIG Iada Martin Takes Charge As Commissioner Of Police

Senior IPS officer DIG Iada Martin Marbanyang has taken charge as the Police Commissioner of Belagavi city. Police Commissioner IGP SN Siddaramappa's retirement, a few days later, the government appointed Ida Martin Marbanyang to fill the vacant post.
Ida Martin, who is known as an officer of discipline and diligence, has come as the Commissioner of Police during the Lok Sabha elections, which has increased the activity in the Police administration.
The new City Police Commissioner Ida Martin said that the system of police administration should be improved even at the lower level, speaking to media persons on Tuesday. He also said that he has learnt about Belagavi, and has the experience of working during the winter session of assembly. Administratively, the City Police department will be improved, he said.
Besides maintaining law and order in the city, he said he will try to solve the traffic problem, and that public cooperation is also essential for this. He added that the police department will also try to work fast to curb the crime cases.
Action will be taken without hesitation against officials who make mistakes by delaying to solve public problems. He said that he has held a meeting with the traffic DCP regarding the traffic problem and will try to solve the problem as soon as possible. DCP Rohan Jagadish, ACP Sadashiva Kattimani were present on this occasion.
