Opposition Leader R. Ashoka expressed outrage, stating that the Congress government, which has burdened people with heavy taxes, is being given the title 'Bankruptcy Model of Karnataka.' He accused Congress leaders of holding achievement conventions amidst people's suffering and deaths.

Speaking at a press conference, Ashoka compared the situation to Pakistan's Army General Asif Munir being conferred the Field Marshal title, saying, "We all confer the title 'Bankruptcy Model of Karnataka' on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. While people bear the tax burden, Congress holds conventions. Funds have been looted from the Valmiki Development Corporation. CM Siddaramaiah has looted 14 sites in MUDA. Women in labour have died in government hospitals. Over 2,000 farmers have committed suicide. Are these the reasons for holding conventions?" he questioned.

He alleged that farmers' lands and temple lands have been seized by the Waqf Board. “A mistake in the KPSC examination has jeopardised the lives of 2 lakh candidates. Neha was murdered in Hubballi due to love jihad. During communal clashes in Nagamangala, even Ganesha was jailed. Five people died in Bengaluru due to rain, turning the capital into a "floating Bengaluru." Alongside increasing milk prices, nearly ₹700 crore in incentives have not been provided,” he added.

“The government is spending ₹60,000 crore on unscientific guarantees, funded by loans. Electricity tariffs have been hiked, and no one questions law and order. When the Home Minister is questioned, incidents are dismissed as accidental or attributed to mentally unstable individuals’” he said. “Mallikarjun Kharge refers to Pakistan as "our Pakistan" and downplays terrorist acts as minor. The true nature of Congress leaders has been exposed to the public,” he added.
