Congress is the party that brings all communities together, Lok Sabha Constituency Congress candidate Venkataramane Gowda (Star Chandru) requested that the leaders of various communities support him in this election and Vokkaliga Samaj should also support and bless me.

He spoke at a meeting of Vokkaliga Samaj leaders and activists organized at the office of KR Nagar Block Congress and Saligrama Block Congress in KR Nagar town.

He is a son of a farmer from the district. He have come to serve you. He asked the community to support him in this election and allow him to serve them and they had blessed Ravi Shankar in the last assembly election.

MLC Dinesh Gooligowda said that Mandya Lok Sabha constitution election has attracted the attention of the country. He said that by giving 8 seats to Vokkaliga community, Congress has done the job of empowering this society.

Ravi Shankar has brought a grant of 200 crores from the government for the development of KR Nagar constituency.  A proposal for release of Rs 1,000 Crore grant has also been submitted. Venkataramane Gowda (Star Chandru) will also join hands in the development in the coming days. He did not join politics to make money. He knows how to get grants from the central government. 

MLA Ravi Shankar said that he was elected as an MLA because of the support of Vokkaliga Samaj to Congress. 

Former MLC Marithibbe Gowda also spoke.  KPCC Executive Committee member Doddaswame Gowda, along with Vokkaliga community leaders and activists were present in the meeting.
