The sewage pits are being cleaned through a mechanized method and the waste is being disposed of everywhere, and in order to avoid this, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer KR Nandini instructed the Executive Engineer of KRIDL to complete the construction work of the sewage treatment unit soon.
After viewing the sewage treatment unit work being carried out in the K Bettahalli Gram Panchayat limits of Pandavapura taluk, she said that if sewage is not managed properly, it will have a severe impact on the environment and health.
