Car catches fire in corporation premises

A car parked in the Municipal Council premises caught fire on Saturday. The car belonged to former Municipal Council Vice President Ambareesh Swamy. He had parked the car in the premises for work and went inside the office. After some time, the car caught fire and burst into flames.

The car was completely burnt to ashes in the blaze. Upon learning of the incident, the fire brigade personnel reached the spot and extinguished the fire, but the car was burnt to ashes.

  The exact cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained. The incident took place within the jurisdiction of Market Police Station.
