Lunch and dinner prasadam are already being distributed in the Kukke area. Thousands of devotees are receiving Annaprasadam every day. The breakfast scheme will further benefit the devotees who arrive at Kukke at night and participate in the puja.
New building for Ashlesha Seva: A donor had earlier come forward to build a new building to conduct Ashlesha Seva in the area. But the construction work had not started. This was also discussed in the meeting. A decision was taken to start the work on the new building as soon as possible regarding Ashlesha Seva and other pujas.
The previous discussion regarding the donation of a silver chariot to the temple by a donor from Sulya was also mentioned.
Similarly, there is a need for more seats in the science and commerce departments of the temple-run SSPU College, and it has also been proposed to open an additional department. In this regard, a delegation went to Bangalore and submitted a request to the department for permission, and it was decided in the meeting to start an additional department from this year itself.
