The Bhakta Bhandara cottage of the Ketohalli branch of Sri Kaginale Mahasamsthan Kanaka Guru Peeth in Bengaluru will be inaugurated on July 5 and 6, former minister H.M. Revanna announced at a press conference.

He said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the Bhakta Bhandara cottage on July 6. The “Guru Pravesh” and a religious meeting will be held on the evening of July 5. Jayendrapuri Swamiji of Kailashram Mahasamsthan Math will attend, and Meghalaya Governor C.H. Vijayashankar will inaugurate the programme.

Prominent leaders including former CM Basavaraj Bommai, Ministers Byrathi Suresh, Satish Jarkiholi, S.S. Mallikarjuna, Santosh Lad, and former ministers K.S. Eshwarappa, H. Vishwanath, and M.T.B. Nagaraj will participate.

Revanna said the three-storey math, built at a cost of around ₹6 crore through donations, will host weekly satsangs and social activities every Saturday.

Former Legislative Council Speaker Raghunath Rao Malakapure, former minister Bandeppa Kashampur, former Bengaluru mayor Ramachandrappa, and other senior leaders were present at the press conference.
