The Bakrid festival, which symbolizes sacrifice, was celebrated with great enthusiasm by Muslim brothers across the district and they also expressed their devotion by offering mass prayers at the Eidgah Maidan in the district headquarters.

A large number of Muslim brothers gathered at the Eidgah Maidan in front of the city's Mini Vidhana Soudha and offered mass prayers. Religious leaders conveyed the message of the festival and preached about the importance of Bakrid festival celebrations and charity. They called on everyone in the society to live as brothers. After the prayers, thousands of Muslim brothers who participated in the prayers embraced each other and exchanged greetings on the occasion of Bakrid.

After participating in the mass prayers and speaking to the media, MLA HA Iqbal Hussain said that   festival is the day to commemorate the devotion and sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim. He prayed that this festival may bring happiness and peace to the country, as well as abundant rain and crops in the state, and that all the people may live a life of peace and coexistence.

Bakrid, which symbolizes the sacrifice, sacrifice, unwavering devotion of Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim and the devotion of his son Hazrat Ismail, is an important festival to commemorate the sacrifice and sacrifice. Tight police security was deployed across the district to prevent any untoward incident on the eve of the festival.
