Former Deputy Chief Minister KS Eshwarappa lashed out, saying, people like Congress’s Priyank Kharge, Santosh Lad, Dinesh Gundu Rao, Kottur Manjunath, BK Hariprasad, who are questioning and demanding evidence about the Indian soldiers attacking Pakistan, are real traitors and they should be shot.

Speaking to reporters in the city on Tuesday, he said, “When the entire country is united, the traitors in the Congress who are making pro-Pakistan statements and creating anarchy within the country should be shot. The Congress is currently divided into two camps. Most senior leaders, including Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, are in favour of Hindustan. However, younger Congressmen like Priyanki Kharge and Lad are in favour of Pakistan.  There is strong opposition within the Congress against them,” he said.

“As long as I live, I will not leave the BJP and form any other party, nor will I join any other party. The only party in this world that supports Hindutva is BJP. Hindutva is in my blood, in my veins. However, I have left the party against this injustice, noticing that some people are moving Hindutva away from the BJP. The party is stuck in the hands of a single family, and that they are doing compromise politics. I am hopeful that the BJP will be repaired not today, but tomorrow, and I will return to the BJP,” he added.

“Leave aside the road construction during our previous BJP government in the state, the Congress government has not done a single pothole closure in the two years it has been in power. It is unclear what they have accomplished in the conference,” said Eshwarappa.
