“The Vachanas contain all the elements of morality, ideology, social fraternity and economy. The Vachana literature has been uniquely formed on the basis of the self-experience of the devotees,” said Pujya Sharanabasava Swamiji of Charantheshwara Math in Belgaum.

Speaking on the 28th day of the month-long Vachana Ashada Pravachana at the Basava Samiti's Anubhav Mantapa in Jayanagar, the venerable seer said that the devotees are always happy, and the Anubhav Mantapa culture is for the lingavan. The religion is that which has made everyone live with respect and self-respect, overcoming the narrowness of all castes. He preached that the hardships and pleasures of life should be accepted as linga bhoja.

“One has to work hard to grow crops. But garbage does not have to work hard to grow, it grows on its own. One has to work hard to cultivate human virtue. Those who have overcome the disease of the soul will experience eternal happiness in the afterlife,” he said. He added that one should do the satsang of the devotees and worship the desired linga.
