ADB team visit Maharani Science College; Interact with students, faculty

As part of the agreement between the Department of Collegiate and Technology Studies and Asian Development Bank for implementing Karnataka Higher Education Revival Scheme, a nine-member team visited the Maharani Arts and Science colleges in the city.
The team comprised Fuk N Chang, Mohammed Faiz Shoul Hameed, Nuhum Kim, Poonam Sharma Bambri, Shaun M.Wellbrownwood, Yashpal Mullick, Samuel K Yang, David and Leh Mac Manyas visited the colleges.
Speaking on the occasion, Maharani Women's Science College Principal Dr.M.Abdul Rahman explained the activities of both the colleges, and the achievements of the students and lecturers.
Later, the ADB members had interaction with Dr Abdul Rahman, Maharani Arts College Principal Dr M.S. Rajashekhar Murthy and other staff members. They visited various departments and spoke to students and their parents.
Joint Director of Mysuru District Collegiate Education Prof B.Chandrashekar and the agreement between the department and the ADB would bring in lot of changes in the field of higher education. But need of the hour was to improve the skills in students.
