Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Rahul Shinde directed that the issue should be resolved by contacting the officials of the respective Tahsildar's office and Sub-Divisional Officer's office to transfer the land revenue records of various horticultural sectors in the district to the name of the Horticulture Department.

He was speaking at a meeting of Karnataka State Horticulture Development Agency (KSHDA) project held at the Zilla Panchayat Hall.

The work of producing quality fruit grafts and saplings in all horticulture fields and nurseries should be accelerated and distributed to farmers. The work you do should not only be beneficial to the department: it should also be beneficial to the farmers, he said.

Informing the meeting, Deputy Director of Horticulture Mahantesh Murgoda explained the progress of the year 2024-25 to the meeting and explained the infrastructure to be built in the field in the action plan for the year 2025-26.
