Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has praised the Indian Women’s team for winning both the T20I and ODI series on their recent tour of England. India won the T20I series 3-2 and followed it up with a 2-1 victory in the ODIs—marking the first time they’ve won both formats in England on a single tour.

Tendulkar shared his thoughts on Reddit’s India Cricket Community, calling the achievement a major milestone. “Winning in England is always a challenge, and doing it in both T20Is and ODIs shows great preparation and mindset,” he wrote.

He highlighted centuries from experienced players Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur, noting how their performances set the tone. “Smriti’s hundred in the first T20I and Harmanpreet’s century in the final ODI were both game-changing,” said Tendulkar. He also praised Kranti for taking six key wickets under pressure and credited the entire squad for stepping up in crucial moments.

With two World Cups ahead, Tendulkar said these wins will boost the team’s confidence. “Well played, Team India,” he concluded.
