Indian badminton stars Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty are ready to fight for their first title of the season at the Macau Open Super 300, which starts on Tuesday. The top Indian duo hopes to continue their good form as they prepare for the upcoming World Championships in Paris next month.

Last week, Satwik and Chirag reached the semifinals at the China Open Super 1000 but lost to Malaysia’s Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik. Despite the loss, the Asian Games champions have had a strong season, showing steady results.

Currently ranked world No. 3, the pair has made it to the semifinals of several top tournaments this year, including the India Open, Singapore Open, and Malaysia Open. They also reached the quarterfinals in Indonesia. However, their journey at the Japan Open ended early in the second round.

With their eyes set on victory, the duo will look to make a strong comeback in Macau and build momentum before the World Championships in August.
