All-rounder Radha Yadav has been added to India’s women’s cricket squad for the white-ball tour of England after Shuchi Upadhyay was ruled out due to injury. The tour includes five T20Is and three ODIs starting June 28.

Shuchi suffered a left shin injury during the pre-tour training camp at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. She was one of the three new faces selected for the T20I squad, along with Sree Charani and Kranti Goud. Shuchi had made her ODI debut against South Africa last month, which remains her only appearance for India so far.

The tour will also mark the return of Shafali Verma to the T20I squad. Shafali had been out of the national team since the 2024 T20 World Cup. However, her strong form in domestic cricket and the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025, where she scored 304 runs with a strike rate of 152.76, earned her a comeback.

Sayali Satghare was named in both T20I and ODI squads, filling gaps left by injured pacers Renuka Singh Thakur and Titas Sadhu. India’s ODI squad remains mostly unchanged from the one that won the recent tri-series in Sri Lanka.

India’s T20Is will be played across venues like Trent Bridge, The Oval, and Edgbaston from June 28 to July 12. The ODIs are scheduled between July 16 and 22 at Southampton, Lord’s, and Chester-le-Street. These matches will help India prepare for the ODI World Cup later this year.
