Pranavi returns, Diksha eyes strong finish
Ayrshire
Indian golfer Pranavi Urs is back from injury and ready to compete at the USD 2 million ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open, starting Thursday (today) at Dundonald Links. She had hurt her wrist in May and hasn’t played since withdrawing from the Dutch Ladies Open.
Pranavi, a former winner of the Hero Women’s Order of Merit, had strong performances earlier this year and now ranks 81st on the Order of Merit. She plays Thursday morning with Kim Metraux (Switzerland) and Fatima Fernandez Cano (Spain).
Also in the field is in-form Diksha Dagar, who had a runner-up finish at the Lalla Meryem Cup and four other top-10s this season. She’s 13th on the Money List and will tee off in the afternoon with China’s Miranda Wang and Korea’s Sei Young Kim.
Tvesa Malik, another Indian, joins Weiwei Zhang (China) and Dorthea Forbrigd (Norway).
The event features 144 players from 32 countries, with four past champions and several 2025 major winners vying for the title over 72 holes.
