Marquez picks 28 players for Thailand match

Indian football head coach Manolo Marquez has selected all 28 players from the current training camp in Kolkata for the upcoming friendly against Thailand. The team will travel Wednesday evening for the FIFA match scheduled on June 4 at Thammasat Stadium, Pathum Thani.
India has trained in Kolkata since May 19 with gym sessions in the mornings and field practice in the evenings. The squad played two practice games—winning 2-1 against Bengal and 3-0 against North 24 Parganas.
Goals came from Brandon Fernandes, Ashique Kuruniyan, Sunil Chhetri, Chinglensana Singh, and Udanta Singh.
After the Thailand match, India will fly to Hong Kong for the AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers Final Round on June 10. The kickoff is set for 5:30 PM IST.
