Manchester United has announced an exciting post-season tour to Asia following the end of the 2024/25 Premier League season. Just three days after their final league match against Aston Villa on May 25, the team will kick off their two-game tour in Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong.

This marks the club’s first post-season tour in the modern era and their return to Asia since their 2022 victory over Liverpool in Bangkok. The Red Devils will play their first match against ASEAN All Stars on May 28 at the 84,000-seater Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur. They will then travel to Hong Kong to face the local team at the 40,000-capacity Hong Kong Stadium on May 30.

Manchester United last visited Kuala Lumpur in 2009 and Hong Kong in 2013. Despite the gap, their fan base in Asia remains strong and passionate.

Club CEO Omar Berrada said the tour is a way to connect with global fans and boost revenue, which supports continued investment in the team. He added that the tour also helps strengthen relationships with fans and commercial partners across Asia and other regions.
