The Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG) 2025, taking place across five cities in Bihar and New Delhi, is drawing global attention with live streaming on Olympics.com. This is the first time the event is being broadcast globally on the official platform of the International Olympic Committee. Highlights will also be aired daily on Eurosport, a sports channel owned by Discovery, with feeds produced by national broadcaster Doordarshan.

Khelo India partnered with Olympics.com for the first time during the 2025 Winter Games held in Leh (Ladakh) and Gulmarg (J&K). “We are thrilled to stream Khelo India Youth Games 2025 on Olympics.com and bring this exciting event to a global audience,” said Kostas Karvelas, General Manager of Olympics.com.

This edition of KIYG marks a first for Eurosport, which will broadcast daily highlights. The seventh edition is an under-18 event with over 10,000 participants across 27 medal sports, including esports. The opening ceremony, held on Sunday at Patna’s Patliputra Sports Complex, was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Games will conclude on May 15. The International Olympic Committee is also focusing on sports like sepak takraw, which makes its debut in KIYG, and India’s indigenous games such as gatka and mallakhamb. The global exposure is a boost for Khelo India, which aims to develop young talent and prepare athletes for the 2036 Summer Olympics.
