Shubman Gill continues to shine at the top of ICC ODI Rankings while Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja also make notable gains following India's Champions Trophy win.
Gill retains top spot, Rohit moves up
India's young opener Shubman Gill has maintained his number one position in the latest ICC ODI batter rankings. Captain Rohit Sharma has climbed to the third spot after his match-winning knock of 76 runs in the final against New Zealand. Virat Kohli also stays strong at fifth position, scoring 218 runs throughout the tournament.
Indian bowlers make a mark
Kuldeep Yadav rose three places to third, thanks to his seven wickets in the tournament. Ravindra Jadeja entered the top 10, now sitting at 10th after taking five wickets.
All-rounder rankings update
Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai remains the top all-rounder. However, Santner (4th), Bracewell (7th), and Rachin Ravindra (8th) made significant jumps. Ravindra was also named 'Player of the Tournament' for his brilliant all-round show, including two centuries and three wickets.
New Zealand players climb up
Several New Zealand players have improved their positions. Daryl Mitchell has moved up to sixth, Rachin Ravindra jumped 14 places to 14th, and Glenn Phillips reached the 24th spot. Among bowlers, New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner rose six places to second after taking nine wickets, including two in the final. Michael Bracewell also climbed 10 spots to 18th.
