Pakistan women’s cricket team captain Fatima Sana has expressed her goal to keep her team unbeaten in the Women's ODI World Cup Qualifiers. After defeating Thailand by 87 runs, Pakistan confirmed their place in the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup, which will be held in India later this year.

Fatima praised her teammates for their strong support and commitment throughout the tournament. "We’ve qualified, and I’m thankful to my team. They backed me fully and gave me the chance to lead," she said. Pakistan now aims to win their final game too.

In the match against Thailand, Pakistan posted 205/6. Sidra Ameen led the charge with a steady 80-run knock, while Fatima added important late runs. Fatima noted the pressure before the 40th over but credited Sidra’s patience and control for stabilizing the innings.

"Sidra held on when things were tough. Her calm approach helped us stay in the game. People might think she was slow, but her role was vital," said Fatima.

Pakistan will next play Bangladesh on Saturday at the Lahore City Cricket Association Ground. Bangladesh, led by Nigar Sultana Joty, is also chasing a World Cup spot. The final match promises to be crucial as both teams look to end the qualifiers on a high.
