Indian golfer Diksha Dagar is set to lead India’s campaign at the Jabra Ladies Open, starting Thursday (today) in Evian-les-Bains, France. Diksha, in excellent form, is aiming for a title after a tied ninth finish at the Dutch Ladies Open. This performance has placed her among the top five in the Ladies European Tour’s Order of Merit.

She will be joined by fellow Indians Tvesa Malik, Avani Prashanth, and Hitaashee Bakshi. Pranavi Urs, who injured her wrist at the Dutch event, will sit out this tournament and the next.

Avani, who tied 19th last week, is ranked 39th in the Order of Merit. Hitaashee impressed by finishing tied 12th in her first LET appearance this year. Tvesa, however, is hoping for a better outing after missing the cut at the Dutch Ladies Open.

Leading the Order of Merit is England’s Mimi Rhodes, who has already secured three victories in seven events this season.

All four Indian golfers aim to perform well against a strong field and gain more ranking points as the season progresses. The Jabra Ladies Open provides another crucial chance for them to shine on the European stage.
