Defending champions Dempo Goa Challengers, led by Harmeet Desai, aim to reclaim the top position when they face Kolkata ThunderBlades in the Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) Season 6 on Sunday. Meanwhile, current table leaders Dabang Delhi TTC will look to extend their unbeaten streak against PBG Pune Jaguars.

Dempo Goa Challengers, placed second, are confident with unbeaten singles players Harmeet Desai and Zeng Jian, who have also found rhythm as a doubles pair. Krittwika Sinha Roy has been flawless in her appearances, making the defending champions tough to beat if their core players continue to perform.

Kolkata ThunderBlades, however, are determined to break their two-tie losing streak. Ankur Bhattacharjee has maintained his strong form, winning all three singles matches, while veterans Aruna Quadri and Adriana Diaz have contributed with two wins each. The team hopes for breakthroughs in their doubles and other slots to turn their fortunes.

Later, league leaders Dabang Delhi TTC, known for their balanced squad, will clash with third-placed PBG Pune Jaguars. Delhi’s unbeaten duo Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and Maria Xiao, along with Diya Chitale and rising star Quek Izaac, have delivered consistent performances. Pune, bolstered by Anirban Ghosh, Reeth Rishya, and new recruit Zion Lee, will look to challenge Delhi’s dominance. All 23 ties of the IndianOil UTT will take place over 16 days at Ahmedabad’s EKA Arena under the Table Tennis Federation of India’s banner.
