India’s mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy has slipped to the third position in the latest ICC Men’s T20 bowling rankings. Hardik Pandya, however, continues to lead the all-rounders' list, according to the rankings released on Wednesday.
Chakravarthy, who previously held the second spot, now has 706 rating points. He is behind New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy, who leads with 723 points, and West Indies’ Akeal Hosein, who has 707 points. Other Indian bowlers in the top 10 include leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi, ranked seventh with 674 points, and left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh, who holds the 10th spot with 653 points. Axar Patel is currently placed at 13th.
In the T20 batting rankings, young Indian opener Abhishek Sharma remains in second place. Australia’s Travis Head continues to hold the top position, while England’s Phil Salt is third. Two more Indian batsmen, Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav, are ranked fourth and fifth, respectively.
Among all-rounders, Hardik Pandya has retained his number-one ranking with 252 rating points. He is followed by Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee and Australia’s Marcus Stoinis in second and third places.
India’s presence in multiple ranking categories highlights the team's strong performance in international T20 cricket. With several Indian players in the top 10 across different rankings, the team continues to be a dominant force in the format.
