Aslam Inamdar is all set to return for Pro Kabaddi League Season 12, after recovering from a serious knee injury. The 25-year-old all-rounder, retained by Puneri Paltan, missed most of last season due to a meniscus tear, playing only seven matches before being sidelined.

“Injury is part of a Kabaddi player’s life,” said Aslam. “But a true player is known by how he returns.” After six months of recovery and training, he says he is now fully fit and ready.

Puneri Paltan struggled without him in Season 11, falling to eighth place after winning the title in Season 10 under his captaincy. “We were at the top when I played. After my injury, the team lost confidence,” he said.

Aslam has been with the team since Season 7, rising from their youth academy. With 545 points in 70 matches, he’s a key figure for the squad.

Looking ahead, he predicts tough competition in the upcoming auction, where player bids may go as high as ₹2 crore.
