Aditi Ashok put on a great performance in the Black Desert Championship with a 6-under 66 in the third round, moving her up to tied-20th place. This round is one of her best of the season, with seven birdies and just one bogey. She now sits at 10-under overall, with rounds of 69, 71, and 66, eight shots behind the leader, Haeran Ryu from Korea. Aditi began the day with three pars but quickly made her move, scoring birdies on four consecutive holes from the fourth to the ninth. She went into the back nine with a 4-under score. On the back nine, she made birdies on the 11th and 12th holes. However, a bogey on the 14th hole prevented a perfect round, but she finished strong with a birdie on the 18th. Aditi’s performance was marked by improved putting, with just 27 putts compared to 31 in the previous round. Haeran Ryu, who is leading the event, shot rounds of 63, 67, and 68, giving her an 18-under total. Ryu is aiming for her seventh straight win. Ruoning Yin, the former Women’s PGA champion, is just two shots behind after a brilliant 62. Aditi will aim to close the gap in the final rounds.
