The Archery Association of India (AAI) has signed an important agreement with Amity University to support the education of archers across the country. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed on Friday, will help archers continue their higher studies while focusing on their sport.

This partnership will benefit senior, junior, and para archers by offering flexible academic options. With demanding training schedules, many athletes find it hard to balance studies and sports. This initiative aims to solve that problem by providing courses that match their needs.

Amity University will offer special undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that allow archers to study without missing practice. The university will also provide scholarships through the ‘CHAMPS’ programme, which has three levels of financial support based on performance.

This move is seen as a big step in helping athletes build a future both in sports and education. It shows a growing effort to support sportspersons not just on the field, but off it as well.
