On International Women’s Day, six remarkable women took over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s social media accounts, sharing their inspiring journeys and achievements. Representing diverse fields, these women showcased the strength of Nari Shakti in shaping India’s future.

Among them, Chess Grandmaster Vaishali Rameshbabu has brought global recognition to India, while Anita Devi, the Mushroom Lady of Bihar, has empowered rural women through sustainable farming. Nuclear scientist Elina Mishra (BARC) and space scientist Shilpi Soni (ISRO) highlighted women’s contributions to cutting-edge research. Ajaita Shah, CEO of Frontier Markets, has helped thousands of women become rural entrepreneurs, and Dr. Anjlee Agarwal has dedicated three decades to promoting inclusive infrastructure.

Through this initiative, these women shared their challenges and triumphs, inspiring millions nationwide. PM Modi reaffirmed his government’s commitment to women's empowerment, stating, We bow to our Nari Shakti on WomensDay! Our schemes reflect our dedication. Today, as promised, my social media will be taken over by women making a mark in diverse fields!

This initiative follows a similar event in 2020, when seven women achievers took over the PM’s social media accounts, gaining a global platform to inspire others.
