The US Embassy in New Delhi has filed an FIR against an individual, Jatinder Singh, and his agent, Rajinder Sharma, for attempting to secure a US visa with fake documents. The FIR was lodged at the Chanakyapuri Police Station, and an investigation is currently underway.

According to the complaint, Jatinder Singh, posing as an employee of Panacea Medical Technologies, applied for a non-immigrant visa on April 22, 2025. He submitted several documents, including an employment letter, pay slip, and an invitation letter from the American Society of Neuroradiology. However, during his interview, Singh admitted that he had never worked for Panacea Medical Technologies and was not married to the person mentioned in the documents.

Singh further revealed that the fraudulent documents were provided to him by Rajinder Sharma from Jalandhar, Punjab, who demanded INR 15 lakhs in return for the fake paperwork. The US Embassy suspects that the two conspired with others to deceive the US Government using forged documents.
