An all-party Indian parliamentary delegation, led by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde, concluded a key diplomatic visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as part of Operation Sindoor’s global outreach initiative aimed at bolstering international cooperation against terrorism.

The visit, organized under the aegis of the Indian Embassy in the UAE, focused on enhancing India-UAE counterterrorism collaboration. The embassy described the engagement as “highly productive,” reinforcing joint efforts to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

MP Shinde expressed gratitude to the UAE leadership for their unwavering support following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. He praised the Indian diaspora in the UAE, calling them the “finest ambassadors” of the country, and appreciated their backing of India’s zero-tolerance policy on terrorism.

In a press briefing, Shinde reiterated India’s firm stance: “Terror and trade cannot go together. If Pakistan truly wants peace, it must completely halt cross-border terrorism.” He emphasized that India remains a nation that exercises restraint but will act decisively when necessary.

The delegation, which also includes members from BJP, IUML, BJD, and legal and diplomatic sectors, will now proceed to the Democratic Republic of Congo as part of India’s continued diplomatic campaign against global terrorism. The visit underscores India’s commitment to forming international alliances to address the evolving threat of terrorism while strengthening diplomatic and economic ties.
