Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has urged students to follow the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, and Periyar, while firmly rejecting the ideas of Nathuram Godse.

Speaking at Jamal Mohamed College in Tiruchirappalli during its platinum jubilee celebrations, Stalin praised the college founders for their efforts to help poor and backward people. He said they followed Gandhi’s path and worked for society’s good.

He told students that Gandhi, Ambedkar, and Periyar showed noble ways to live. He warned them not to be influenced by divisive ideas like those of Godse. Stalin stressed that students should stay united and be aware of politics to protect their rights.

He also highlighted that the Dravidian Model government works for social justice and self-respect. Education, he said, is the key to building a fair and strong society.

The Chief Minister promised that his government would continue to protect the political rights of the Muslim community. He also announced a plan to give 20 lakh laptops to students to support their education.

Stalin is on a two-day visit to Tiruvarur district. He will hold a big roadshow and unveil a bronze statue of former CM M. Karunanidhi. After that, he will stay at his ancestral home overnight.

On the second day, Stalin will open new infrastructure projects and lay foundation stones for future ones. He will also give welfare aid to many people from different government departments. After finishing the events, Stalin will travel to Tiruchirappalli and then return to Chennai.
