The Youth Congress organized a youth employment fair at Rajasthan International Center on Wednesday, attracting a large number of job seekers from various districts. Over a hundred major companies participated, conducting interviews and offering jobs on the spot. Some candidates even received joining letters immediately.

State Youth Congress President Abhimanyu Poonia stated that more than 2,500 youths would be given joining letters. He described the fair as a pilot project in Rajasthan, with plans to expand it to district and block levels.

Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot supported the initiative, criticizing the BJP government at both the Center and the state for failing to fulfill employment promises. He praised the Youth Congress for implementing Rahul Gandhi’s vision, noting the excitement among participants.

Gehlot stressed the need for similar job fairs in every locality, encouraging major companies to participate and provide employment opportunities. He also criticized the BJP’s Rising Rajasthan campaign, highlighting its extensive promotions and international visits that resulted in MoUs worth ₹33 lakh crore. However, he questioned the actual investment inflow, stating that even ₹10,000 to ₹12,000 crore would be welcome.

He further pointed out that Rajasthan’s Chief Minister admitted investors were not responding to calls or emails, raising doubts about the government's employment and investment claims.
