In a tragic incident, popular Punjabi influencer Kamal Kaur, also known as Kanchan Kumari, was found dead in a parked car at Adesh Medical University in Bathinda, Punjab, on Wednesday night. The vehicle, registered in Ludhiana, had been parked for days. A foul smell led to the discovery of her decomposed body in the back seat.

Kaur had told her family on June 9 that she was going to Bathinda for a promotional event but lost contact afterward. Originally from Ludhiana and based in Chandigarh, she gained popularity through bold and humorous content on YouTube and Instagram, where she had over 3.85 lakh followers.

Her last Instagram post had a cryptic caption, raising concern. In 2024, she received threats from Canada-based gangster Arsh Dalla, who accused her of corrupting youth with vulgar videos. Police are now investigating all angles, including a possible link to those threats.
