Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at a rally in Dahod, Gujarat, on Monday, said Pakistan’s main goal is to spread hatred against India and find ways to harm the country. In contrast, India is focused on fighting poverty and promoting economic growth for its people. He praised Operation Sindoor, launched after terrorists killed 26 people in Pahalgam, Kashmir, on April 22. This operation, which started on May 7, dealt a heavy blow to terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Modi warned those who try to harm Indian women, saying, Those who try to wipe off the sindoor of our sisters should know their end is near. He criticized Pakistan for living in hatred since Partition and said the country’s only goal is to hurt India. Modi stressed that India’s mission is to end poverty, boost development, and become a developed nation. He also highlighted the government’s efforts to bring growth to backward areas to create balanced progress.

The Prime Minister encouraged people to support Indian-made products, especially during festivals like Holi, Diwali, and Ganesh Puja. He said, For India to grow, everything we need should be made in India. This supports the government’s push for self-reliance and local manufacturing.

During the rally, Modi launched projects worth ₹24,000 crore, including a new locomotive manufacturing plant. He also flagged off the Ahmedabad-Veraval Vande Bharat train and the Valsad-Dahod Express. Modi mentioned that advanced Vande Bharat trains now run on 70 routes across India, highlighting the country’s progress in modern infrastructure and transportation. His speech focused on India’s growth goals while also addressing security and national pride.
