In a shocking admission, Pakistan's Defence Minister Khwaja Asif revealed that Pakistan has been supporting and funding terrorist groups for over three decades, claiming the country did this "dirty work" for the United States. In a viral interview with Sky News's Yalda Hakim, Asif acknowledged Pakistan's long history of backing terrorist organizations. When asked about the support, he admitted, "We have been doing this dirty work for the United States for about 3 decades... and the West, including Britain... That was a mistake, and we suffered for that."

Asif further explained that Pakistan's involvement in the wars against the Soviet Union and later, the U.S.-led war after 9/11, led the country down a dangerous path. He added that Pakistan's record would have been "unimpeachable" had it not joined these conflicts.

During the interview, Asif also warned of the potential for an "all-out war" with India, continuing to hint at tensions between the two nations.

Asif's admission confirms long-held suspicions that Pakistan has been harboring terror groups for years. This revelation comes amidst rising tensions between India and Pakistan, particularly after the recent terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives. India responded with diplomatic measures, including closing border posts, suspending the SAARC Visa Exemption Scheme for Pakistanis, and halting the Indus Waters Treaty. Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed strong action against the perpetrators of the attack.
