Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday inaugurated the BJP’s three-day training camp in Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh, attended by over 200 MPs, MLAs, ministers, and senior party leaders. Set against the peaceful backdrop of the Satpura Range, the camp focuses on strengthening ideological clarity, improving communication skills, and refining grassroots strategy ahead of future elections.

In his opening speech, Shah stressed the importance of discipline, commitment to ideology, and dedicated public service. He reminded attendees to stay rooted in BJP’s core principles while adapting to the changing needs of the public. He also spoke about the party's journey from its Jan Sangh days to becoming a major national force, highlighting the value of training in building a strong, united organization.

Shah urged party leaders to connect effectively with the public, improve digital outreach, manage constituencies efficiently, and deliver governance on time. His address laid the foundation for the camp’s sessions on public conduct, time management, and policy communication.

The camp, held in a hotel, follows a strict daily routine that begins with yoga at 6 a.m. and includes several workshops. Mobile phones are restricted during sessions to ensure focus.

Notable leaders like Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, BJP state president Vishnu Dutt Sharma, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and BL Santosh are also speaking at the event. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will deliver the closing address on June 16.

As part of the event, BJP leaders including VD Sharma and Union ministers took part in a tree plantation drive under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign near Pachmarhi’s cemetery, promoting environmental awareness alongside political training.
