BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda on Monday led the Tiranga Yatra organised by the party’s district unit in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, aiming to boost the morale of the armed forces and energize party workers.

The march commenced from Mall Road, echoing with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” as thousands of party supporters lined the route. Nadda, travelling in an open jeep, was welcomed with great enthusiasm by a sea of cheering supporters. The event saw active participation from elderly citizens, youth, and women, all carrying the national flag.

Nadda interacted warmly with the crowd, shaking hands and thanking them for their support. State BJP President Rajiv Bindal, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister, praised the overwhelming response in Solan, saying it reflected the people’s love for the nation and the armed forces.

In his address, Bindal also targeted the state government, alleging its failure in law and order and expressing concern over the investigation into the suspicious death of Chief Engineer Vimal Negi. He questioned the disappearance and reappearance of a key pen drive and claimed the original contents were deleted.

Bindal accused the state Chief Minister of obstructing the CBI investigation and stated that public pressure forced the withdrawal of a legal petition filed by the Superintendent of Police against the central agency. Other senior leaders, including Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, national Vice-President Saudan Singh, and state in-charge Shrikant Sharma, also attended the event.
