Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly criticized Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of spreading false claims about poisoning the Yamuna, while also alleging desperation within the AAP camp due to upcoming Delhi elections. Speaking at a rally in Kartar Nagar, Modi likened AAP leaders to Charles Sobhraj, a notorious criminal known for deceiving people with apparent innocence. He accused the party of misleading Delhi residents with unfulfilled promises, especially regarding the Yamuna cleanup.

Modi also rejected Kejriwal's claims about BJP’s alleged sabotage of water supplies, urging the public to see through these tactics. He reminded the people of Delhi that similar accusations were made in previous elections, only to be forgotten once the votes were cast. Modi emphasized that the people of Delhi want a government that prioritizes development, including clean water, improved infrastructure, and affordable housing.

The PM expressed confidence in the support of Delhi’s voters, promising a BJP-led government focused on welfare and the city’s modernization. He stated that the BJP has a proven track record of fulfilling its promises and assured Delhiites that their concerns would be addressed with urgency. Modi urged voters to give him a chance, promising to lead Delhi toward a prosperous and developed future.
