A unique vehicle has recently captured the attention of Surat residents – a Tesla Cybertruck. Lavji Daliya, also known as Lavji Badshah, has become the proud owner of a Foundation Series Tesla Cybertruck, a limited-production model from Elon Musk’s company. His son, Piyush, confirmed to The Indian Express that this is the only Cybertruck in India, based on their research. The car was ordered six months ago from a Tesla showroom in Texas and was later registered in Dubai before being shipped to India.

The Cybertruck arrived in Surat on Thursday, and its base price is said to be around Rs 60 lakh. The family proudly displays their company’s name, ‘Gopin,’ on the vehicle. Piyush shared that while the car’s logistics costs were high, it has been an exciting experience. The Cybertruck can seat five people and takes six hours to fully charge, with a range of up to 550 kilometers. Its stainless steel body and sturdy tires make it suitable for rough terrain.

In Surat, the Cybertruck has generated significant curiosity, with crowds gathering wherever it goes. Lavji Daliya, a real estate and diamond mogul, is the founder of the Gopin Group, which operates in real estate, non-profit initiatives, and investments. Known for his philanthropy, Daliya is referred to as ‘Badshah’ and is committed to social causes, such as supporting Patel community parents through his Badshah Sukanya Smridhi Yojana.
