Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president and Lok Sabha MP K Sudhakaran stated on Saturday that he was unaware of any plans to replace him as the state president. However, he emphasized that he would accept any such decision from the party high command. Sudhakaran shared that he recently discussed Kerala politics with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and party leader Rahul Gandhi, but no mention was made of removing him.

I can't question the high command's decision. I will accept it, he said. His comments follow rumors that Congress MP Anto Antony may replace him as KPCC chief, a topic that has surfaced before. Earlier, Congress Working Committee member Shashi Tharoor had supported Sudhakaran's leadership, highlighting the party's electoral successes under his tenure.
