Jammu and Kashmir leaders have strongly criticized Pakistan for its ongoing support of terrorism. GM Shaheen of JDU and Altaf Thakur of BJP condemned Pakistan’s actions, with Thakur calling for severe punishment and Shaheen emphasizing Pakistan’s decades-long role in promoting terrorism.

Shaheen, stated that it’s crucial for Pakistan to be placed on the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list, highlighting the evidence India has provided over the years, including regarding Azhar Masood. He also accused Pakistan of sending soldiers to Jammu and Kashmir and supporting target killings.

Thakur, responding to remarks by Bilawal Bhutto, asserted that Pakistan is the source of global terrorism, referring to the Pahalgam attack by Lashkar-e-Taiba, a group with strong links to Pakistan. He criticized Pakistan’s foreign policy of promoting terrorism and selling terrorists. Thakur also pointed out that top Pakistani officials have openly admitted to supporting terrorism.

This condemnation comes after the April 22 Pahalgam attack, which killed 26 people, highlighting Pakistan’s continued involvement in terrorist activities.
