YSR Congress Party President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy strongly condemned the recent attack on former MLA Nallapareddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy’s house in Nellore, blaming it on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s “violent tactics.”

In a social media post, Jagan accused Naidu of trying to silence the Opposition through violence and fear. He claimed that under Naidu’s rule, there have been three murders, six attempted murders, and 12 attacks against political opponents.

Jagan said the attack on Prasanna Kumar Reddy’s home was clearly an attempt to kill him. He described how Reddy’s elderly mother was terrorized and how the attackers caused destruction inside the house. He blamed TDP supporters for carrying out the attack openly, even in the presence of the police.

Jagan said this kind of violence was never seen before in Telugu states and called it an attack on democracy itself. He accused Naidu of enjoying such violence and controlling his party workers to threaten and harm rivals.

He also mentioned Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh’s ‘Red Book,’ which reportedly had names of YSRCP leaders to target. Jagan claimed that the attack was planned to stop him from visiting Chittoor District to meet mango farmers in trouble and to distract people from real issues.

Jagan warned that violence cannot stop the voice of the Opposition. He promised to continue standing up for people and exposing problems, despite threats or attacks from the ruling party.
