India, Shakti’s land, leads anti-terror fight: BJP
New Delhi
BJP leader Daggubati Purandeswari, part of the all-party delegation that visited six countries including the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Denmark, and Belgium, said there was widespread support for India’s fight against terrorism. She shared that the team met ministers, MPs, officials, and the Indian diaspora in each country, presenting clear evidence of Pakistan’s state-sponsored terrorism. This included photos of terrorists' funerals attended by Pakistani army officials, helping build global support for India's stance.
Speaking about Operation Sindoor, she expressed pride in India's strength, especially women leading military efforts like flying Rafale jets. She called India a true land of Shakti.
On narco-terrorism, she highlighted concerns from Punjab about drugs being smuggled via drones from Pakistan. These were taken seriously by foreign officials, who pledged support. Purandeswari also urged global bodies to monitor financial aid to Pakistan, citing frequent IMF bailouts and the risk of fund misuse.
She dismissed political criticism of the delegation, stressing national security should unite all parties. Responding to Pakistan’s reported plan to send its own delegation abroad, she said India’s efforts were serious and evidence-based.
On the Indus Water Treaty, she noted that Pakistan receives 80% of the water but avoids dialogue. India, she said, would assert its rights. She concluded by affirming India’s resolve to fight terrorism and build strong global alliances for peace and security.
BJP MP Daggubati Purandeswari said the all-party delegation received strong support from European nations after presenting evidence of terrorism against India. Led by MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, the team met officials, MPs, and diaspora across six countries. Germany’s leaders affirmed solidarity, acknowledging India’s long fight against terrorism.
