Ahmedabad
A woman from Bhavnagar, Gujarat, who lost her husband and son in the Pahalgam terror attack, expressed strong support for India’s military response, Operation Sindoor, and urged continued action against Pakistan. Kajalben Parmar, whose husband Yatish and son Smit were among the 26 victims of the April 22 attack, praised the Indian armed forces for their missile strikes on terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, including Jaish-e-Mohammad’s Bahawalpur base and Lashkar-e-Taiba’s Muridke camp.
I am proud of the airstrike on Pakistan. I salute our armed forces and Bharat Mata. I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and request him to continue such actions until Pakistan is destroyed, said Kajalben, holding back her tears. Her son, who had dreamed of joining the Indian Army, was killed while visiting Pahalgam to attend a religious event.
Her elder son, Abhishek, echoed his mother’s sentiments, saying, I am happy that Modi took action. We lost both my father and brother, and now Pakistan has been given a response.
In Surat, Shitalben Kalathiya, whose husband Shailesh was also killed in the Pahalgam attack, expressed satisfaction with the government’s response. We have full faith in the government. What has been done is right, and we believe they will continue to take the right steps, she said. Shitalben added that her daughter, who witnessed her father’s death, was still struggling with the trauma. Both women thanked the government for its efforts and appealed for support for their children’s future.
