A fire broke out early on Saturday morning (December 21, 2024) at Salarpuria Sattva Knowledge City in the HITEC City area of Hyderabad. The fire, which started in the amenities block of the Sattva Elixir building, was reported at 6:12 a.m.

Firefighters swiftly responded, deploying four firefighting vehicles, including a Bronto Skylift, from various stations in Madhapur, Gachibowli, Vattinagulapally, and Kukatpally. The fire was brought under control within an hour, and thankfully, no casualties or injuries were reported. A spokesperson from the Sattva Group confirmed that the operations at Knowledge City are continuing as usual. They also stated that the cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Salarpuria Sattva Knowledge City, a well-known commercial hub, houses several office spaces, and the prompt response from the fire department helped prevent the incident from escalating further.

Authorities are working to determine the exact cause of the fire, but operations in the area have not been significantly impacted. This incident has raised awareness about the need for rigorous fire safety protocols in high-rise buildings. The fire reportedly started in the early morning hours when the building was less populated, which likely contributed to the absence of casualties. The fire services department is conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause, while building officials are reviewing safety measures to ensure future incidents are avoided.
