Delhi CM Praises Central Government's 11 Years of Development

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi marks 11 years in office, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta acknowledged the significant progress and relief efforts brought to the capital by the Central Government. Gupta highlighted advancements in healthcare, infrastructure, and various welfare programs, stating, The situation in Delhi was different during the 11 years of the Central Government's tenure.

Regarding healthcare, she specifically lauded AIIMS, noting its annual handling of 5 lakh OPD cases, which significantly reduces the burden on Delhi's other hospitals. Gupta also pointed to impressive infrastructure growth, citing the approval of a road project worth ₹1.25 lakh crore. She credited the Central Government for the expansion of the Delhi Metro, with one phase after another being launched under its patronage.

Furthermore, Gupta listed several impactful central government schemes implemented in Delhi: Under the Mudra Yojana, loans were distributed to the people of Delhi. Under the Garib Kalyan Yojana, free ration was provided. She added that 1,731 colonies were regularized, ₹300 crore in loans were given to 2 lakh street vendors, and 12,000 farmers received ₹6,000 as Kisan Samman Nidhi.

The Union government also released a detailed e-book commemorating PM Modi's 11 years, emphasizing a commitment to inclusive, progressive, and sustainable development. The book highlights the shift towards Vikasvaad (politics of development) as the core of political discourse and policy. It stresses the India First approach in all policies, from national security and economic management to empowering marginalized groups and cultural preservation. The e-book also lauded the government's swift COVID-19 vaccination drive and significant achievements in rural electrification, infrastructure, and digital revolution. It underscored the JAM Trinity (Jan Dhan, Aadhaar, Mobile) as a key enabler for direct benefit transfers, and India's global leadership in environmental protection, including the recognition of International Yoga Day. The book concluded by showcasing Operation Sindoor as an example of a new India—resolute, swift, and sovereign in action.
