The Monsoon Session (Third Session) of the Eighth Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi will begin on August 4 at 2:00 PM in the Assembly Hall, Old Secretariat, Delhi. This session marks a major step towards digital governance, as it will be conducted entirely paperless via the National eVidhan Application (NeVA) platform.

Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta stated that the session is tentatively scheduled from August 4 to 8, 2025. However, it may be extended if necessary based on legislative requirements. Daily sittings will begin at 2:00 PM and continue until the day’s business is concluded.

Members wishing to raise issues under Rule 280 (Special Mention) must submit their notices only through the NeVA portal by 5:00 PM on the previous working day. The order of the first 10 notices will be decided by ballot at 11:00 AM in the Secretary’s Room on the day of the session. Submissions should be concise—limited to 8 to 10 lines—focused on a single department, and strictly followed during discussion in the House.

All notices, including Questions and Resolutions, must be submitted digitally through the NeVA portal. A helpdesk at NeVA Sewa Kendra will assist Members or their staff with online submissions from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

The Speaker encouraged all Members to actively engage in this paperless session and follow the outlined procedures to ensure transparency and efficiency in legislative proceedings.
