The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), acting on intelligence from the USA, launched Operation Hawk to dismantle online child sexual exploitation networks with international connections. This swift action led to the arrest of two individuals involved in separate cases.

In one case, Sheikh Muizz Ahmed from Mangalore used the social media platform Discord to engage in sexualized chats with a minor girl in the USA. He coerced her into sharing explicit images and videos and threatened her online. CBI's investigation led to searches in Mumbai and Mangalore, the recovery of devices containing child sexual abuse material, and Ahmed's subsequent arrest.

In another case, Mukul Saini from Delhi also used Discord to exploit a minor girl in the USA. He induced her to share obscene content and threatened to make it public if she refused. CBI's searches in Delhi yielded incriminating digital evidence, leading to Saini's arrest.

These operations highlight CBI's commitment to combating online child sexual exploitation and protecting children worldwide. Previous initiatives like Operation CARBON and Operation Megh Chakra underscore their ongoing efforts in this crucial area.
